    Description

The Oracle Weblogic Server is an application server for building and deploying enterprise Java application programs. The Oracle WebLogic Application Deployment plug-in provides processes to deploy, redeploy, and undeploy applications on a WebLogic server. Steps are also provided to start and stop deployed applications. The plug-in includes a component template to assist in setting up deployment automation.

    This plugin has been deprecated
We are currently looking into the prospect of open sourcing this particular plugin so that users who want to continue using it can maintain their own versions. However, the HCL Launch WLDeploy Plugin will be actively supported and we encourage users to transition over. Another option is the WebLogic-WLST Plugin, which uses Oracle’s WebLogic Scripting Tool.

    Platform Support:
This plug-in is supported for use with WebLogic Server version 10.3 or later.

    Summary

The Oracle WebLogic Application Server plugin automates the deployment and management of applications on the Oracle WebLogic Server.
This plugin includes one or more steps, click Steps for step details and properties.

Note: Deployment of .jar files is not supported.

All of the steps include the Admin URL property and the Classpath property. The administrative URL might use the tc3 or tc3s protocol, as opposed to http or https. For example, t3://server.example.com:7001. The classpath property must point to a file, not to a link.

The plugin also includes a component template as an aid in setting up deployment automation. When you create a component from the template, you provide the following information:

    • The location of the artifacts to deploy
    • The Oracle WebLogic server to use
